530 or 550-600 rwhp without E85 or METH: turbo
In my area the only fuel available tops out at 91 octane (shell) with 0% ethanol and 94 octane (husky/mohawk) with 10% ethanol blend. There is NO ACCESS to E85.
I would like to take my 2005 lq4 6.0 and single turbo to produce in the large ball park of 530-600 rwhp. 600rwhp being the most as I do not ever want to upgrade my power goal so I would like to match my parts appropriately instead of overbuying for 1000 rwhp builds.
As far as feed and return lines go, -6AN feed and -6AN return seem to be sufficient for my goals as I am staying fuel injected.
600 rwhp through a th400 is about 750 flywheel horsepower and the online fuel injector calculator from the sticky said 70 lb/hr(for 750 chp) injectors at 80% IDC. To be safe and not overkill I think whatever I can get for injectors around 70 lb should do me good as I will realistically be happy with 530 rwhp (663 flywheel hp).
My question is what size fuel pump do I safely need?
Using the online fuel pump size calculators, for my max goal of 750 chp(600rwhp) it says I need 277 LPH of flow. For my baby goal of 663 hp(530rwhp) it says I need 247 LPH of flow. Obviously a 255 LPH pump is off the table as I wouldn't want to be operating at the pump limits. Would a 340 lph aeromotive intake pump be good as to not be overkill but still provide ample fuel from anywhere from 530rwhp - 600 rwhp (663-750chp)?

You'll only need 347lph of flow at full power - WOT at 6,500 rpm's. The rest of the time you'll need less. I wouldn't be afraid to use a Walbro 255lph pump.
I'm using an external Aeromotive A100 pump. in about 25,000 miles, I'm on my third pump. I think I'm going to switch to the new Holley.
I would (and do) use a -8 feed line. a -6 will probably be fine. But the pump will have to work harder to provide the volume you need with a smaller line.
Don't forget to upgrade the electrical system for the pump. You can buy a kit, but all you really need is a relay, circuit breaker/fuse, and a some 14g wire.

Alright I'll go with -8AN feed and thanks for your reply. I was planning on using a 76mm turbo. I'll definitely upgrade my electrical supply to my pump.

But now this has me wondering which is worse..
1.) increased heat of fuel due to fuel running through -6AN line from a 340 lph pump OR
2.) the increased force of gravity under acceleration acting on the increased amount of fuel in the -8AN line compared to the smaller amount in the -6AN line
