Default fuel return on a 79 z28

Could I just use my old supply line since I'm going to a sump with -8an braided line? Or is that just a silly idea? I feel like it's a pretty dumb question.

Maybe. How big is the original supply line? What kind of pump and HP are you trying to make?

Original line is 3/8th. Using a aeromotive a1000 pump and a aeromotive regulator. Hp numbers should be around 600

A 3/8" return will work for you just fine.
