EV1 Shorty Deka's in 4th GEN LS3 swap. Will they work?
I'm converting from cathedral to an LS3 top end on my 99 camaro 416 car using a stock LS3 intake and fuel rail.
I bought a set of DEKA 60lb Shorty injectors with EV1 connector. I was thinking I beat the system by getting a short injector and EV1 (no need for EV6 adapters) but it looks like I have a problem. The injector doesn't seem to fit into the intake correctly...way too loose and will no doubt have a vacuum leak.
Has anybody used these injectors in a LS3 intake before? I see them listed as "LS3/LS7" injectors on multiple sites.
These are the injectors (p/n 107962)...

For the next guy doing this...Lingenfelter sells a o-ring for this exact application.
The advantage in my opinion is a cleaner install due to not needed any harness adapters.
