5.3 to LS1
Hi everyone, new here, hoping this is the right area for this.
Im building a 5.3/LS1 for my 1993 C1500. Its a 5.3 bored to LS1 bore size, with a Comp Cam (not sure of specs off the top of my head), truck intake. For now, i plan on using the stock truck injectors but was going to get the Holley billet fuel rails so i dont have to have the ugly truck rails. I also plan on using the Holley HP EFI standalone computer system since this is going in an older truck. With me using the truck injectors, but getting an LS1 harness, will the connectors be different or are they usable?

we've only ever balanced engines when they are more precision made and built for higher rpm applications i.e. 505 cu in BBC for a drag car, 600HP BBC in my Camaro.
that said, i imagine the aftermarket pistons are probably a little lighter even though they are slightly larger, I dont think itll have a large effect on the motor
