4303 and starting issues
I have a 4303 pump and sometimes I have to key the car on 2 times before it will fire. The car will not hold pressure after the pump is off. Is anyone running a 4303 with a -10 in line check valve after the fuel pump to help it hold a prime and start faster?

What your dealing with is somewhat normal. The 4303 will not hold pressure once it is turned off. So if you key on (pump runs for a few seconds and then stops) the key start it may take a second to build pressure back up.
The check valve may help. Check out peterson fluid systems. If they have a check valve, it'll be one of the best you can buy.
Another solution is to wire the pump up on its own switch. That way the pump does not turn off between key on and key start.
The above is assuming you have a perfect start up tune.

Really dont see why it would be an issue.
The pump will prime as you key on, and as soon as the engine starts rotating, the pump will also start again...ie during cranking ( assuming you've wired it correctly )
I've run 044's for 10 years on mine, they dont maintain line pressure, and I've never had issues starting.
