Default 80s, Twin Walbros, -8/-6 Lines enough for 750rwhp E85?

I'm just contemplating running an E85 setup on my higher compression motor with a D1 @ 12psi or so with methanol injection.

Would Siemens 80s, Billet Rails, Twin Walbro 255s, and PTFE -8/-6 lines be enough for E85? I think I could hit 700-750 with 11:1 CR motor and 12psi with decent timing with the D1.

I don't like the spray pattern on the 80s. You also might end up a little short on pump. If they are hotwired and both on a bap it might work. I don't like baps either. You need a bigger secondary pump.

I could do the 340s as well...

What's the spray pattern on the 80s? I thought it was a cone and the same as the 60s?

The 80s from ford racing are a dual cone used on the cobrajet.
I think you might be better off with a fic/id1000.

The walbro 340 is a 255lph pump. I'd use that as a primary and and then one of their bigger pumps (400lph if sticking with walbro) on a Hobbs switch/relay set for xPSI.

It's possible the dual 340s (255s) could work if you backed the pressure down to 3bar with a a manifold referenced regulator. That would be right to their limit though.

Ford Racing calls it a single cone? Single orifice. The 60s are 4-orifice, single cone.

I've heard their spray pattern can be ****, but they also work well for a lot of people. And there is accurate data for them.

SD 80# Cobrajet
FRPP M-9593-LU80
Siemens 80#/hr @ 3 bar
Dual Cone Ford Cobrajet OE Injector

That's from Banish.

80 lb/hr, single-hole, high-impedance fuel injector with USCAR electrical connector
Single cone spray pattern
Original equipment on supercharged FR500CJ Cobra Jet

Thats the same PN from FRPP website. Dunno.

I think you'll need a little more than 80@3bar (95@4).

Yeah. May need 105s or so.

Although, I don't have a lot of options for E85. I may just run 100 octane. Then I don't have to worry about the extra volume.

You don't necessarily need to run E85. E48 could do just as well.
