Default Can a bad fuel pump cause this

So about 2 weeks ago I put in a deutchewerks dw301 fuel pump because my car was leaning out badly at WOT. After the install the problem went away. Fast forward to a few days ago and now the car doesn't want to idle. When I come to a stop it leans out very badly and wants to stall. I am reading 50 PSI at the rail of fuel pressure which I know is low, but the old pump read the same thing when I pulled it and didn't have any problems idling. I have tried running it closed loop and open loop and it does the same thing. Car runs fine when you take off.

Scanning with hptuners doesn't show anything out of the ordinary. I am getting normal readings off my MAF, my O2 are working, and my IAC counts are the same as they have always been. I am wondering if the pump is struggling being on the stock harness.

If fuel pressure is good and same as before, it's unlikely that is the problem.

So the pump was the culprit. Put a new Racetronix pump in and my problems went away. Picked up 2/10ths in the 1/4 last night running with good fuel pressure.

Good for you!
And, we're seeing all the bad press on the Walbros, and all the "cures" by using the 301...Kinda makes one wonder...
