Default Hit a Bump now fuel level stays on F

Hey guys I have a quick question maybe hopefully I'll get an answer I have a 98 Trans Am yesterday when fueling up. I had hit a small curb. Driving down the road for 100 miles I've noticed that my fuel gauge was still was still on full. So I had stopped at a gas station shut off and turn her back on I noticed that the fuel gauge did not do a full sweep and that it was still marking full.
I took out the fuel pump to check to make sure that the float was not stuck and it looked fine to me but still wouldn't mark the right amount fuel any help would be greatly appreciate to get this resolve

W/ the sender out of the tank, hook it up w/ a jumper set, and see if when you move the float that the gauge works.
You could also test the sender w/ a digital VOM. Look to see if the output is linear, without dead areas.

since the sending unit kinda sits in a little cubby hole in the tank, the float could have gotten stuck/wedged up against the wall of the cubby hole. try hitting the bump again
