228r cam/243s.. Need injectors?
So I got a really good deal on a cam kit brand new in boxes from someone that gave up on it, he even threw in a pair of as cast 243s.
Car made 332/341 with current mods before stall was put in trans
slp lid, ls1 intake, tsp 1-7/8" lts, tsp 3" ory, mufflex 4" single catback
car is a 2000 so I think it has 26 lb injectors stock. stock fuel pump.
what I plan on adding:
ls6 intake
tsp 228r cam
243 heads ( have not decided if I want to have port work done or not)
if I have to:
racetronix 42 lb
racetronix fuel pump and hot wire kit
My question is.. am I going to run out of injector without port work done on the heads? I figure I would bolt them on as cast if it saves me the ~600 from getting new fuel parts. I'm not worried about getting too serious with this car and these few mods will probably be the last things I do, as I have a camaro to get more serious with.
I expect the car to make somewhere around 400 rwhp without any head work, probably around 420 with head work. What is everyone's opinion? What have people experienced when tuning on stock injectors after adding motor mods? I will probably ask my tuner what he thinks as well but I figured it wouldn't hurt to post here.
Thanks

Too close for comfort. Mine is a 2002 with stock 28s and my injectors are 100% duty with an ls6 cam/heads and 417whp.
You won't need the fuel pump upgrades unless there's something wrong with your current stock pump.
