Need injector advice for cam only - what are you using?
Ok...need some help on fuel injectors. Back in the day about 10 years ago I ran 42lb injectors (forgot brand but I think Ford green tops) with a healthy head/cam and 90/90 set up so I needed them. I got a clean SS now I'm messing with and going cam only with ls6 intake. It's a 00 so I have the smaller 26 vs 28 so I'm concerned I need bigger injectors so I don't make out the duty cycle. What injectors are y'all running cam only - brand and size?? I've been looking at older GTP and SVOs but looking to see what real people are running and how they like what their using. I'd like to keep on budget but I don't want stuff that will cause running issues or go too big that will also cause tuning issues I'd think. I will be doing a 255 pump fyi.

typically fuel injectors are rated a flow rate at 43.5psig (3 barg) of fuel pressure. Keep in mind that fuel injectors with an increase in pressure, increase #LB flow of fuel....however, this is opposite for electric fuel pumps.
If you increase this 43.5psig pressure to 58psig (4 barg), the fuel injector increase in fuel flow by the square root of new divided by old pressure. See sticky here. It is one of stickies on the fuel and injection page.
so a 36# injector at 43.5psi
equals
a sqrt ( 58 / 43.5 ) * # fuel injector = 41.57# injector at 58psig
for simplicity sake, if your injector is rated at 43.5psi and you are going to operate it at 58psig; multiply the # value by 1.1547
if you are doing the opposite, multiply by 0.866
if I have confused you, you are welcome.
