Default inline fuel pump problem?

Hey all I have an inline fuel pump that is giving me problems. Brand is unsure? It is like it is sticking. I crawled under the truck and had a helper turn the key on. I flet the pump click but wouldnt start I can smack it with a screwdriver and it will start and run just fine. I redid my power connections but didnt help. This is a conversion so this is my only pump.
I did run some seafoam in the tank once I got this running to clean the injectors since the motor sat for a while I mixed it pretty strong in only a 1/4 tank.
It wont do this all the time
Thanks
Dave

sounds like intenal wiring on the pump is going south. is it mounted in any kind of vibration protection? mabybe some rubber around the pump may help.
