I just installed my walbro 255 fuel pump a few days ago and I realized there is no filter/strainer for the pump. But going through some other threads I heard people mentioning the filter. Am I the only one with out the filter or do they not come with one or are they just plain a simply no need, I would think so

There should be a sock that came with it. If you didn't get one a 5.0 mustang sock will work. You'll want to have one on it.
