Default 1999+ Plastic fuel tank swap into a 1998 Car.

Hey, i went to put my fuel pump on and destroyed the part that measures the fuel on that harness assembly. I went and bought a 1999-2002 LS1 plastic fuel tank and pump assembly. How do I make it work on a 1998 car? anyone done this?

Just make sure you have a 98 fuel sending unit and everything will work fine. 98's have a different impedance range for the sending unit than those from 99-02 cars, but other than that the tank will mount right up just like your stocker.

weight savings is about 18 lbs.
