Question about gas

Question about gas OK this question is not coming up because of the gas prices or anything like that. Im about to go to school in another city and when I was there a few days ago most of the stations had regular unleaded, then even cheaper was the unleaded plus w/ 10% ethanol. My question is about which to buy. I always run premium so Im not sure what to do if these are my only choices. Should I just go w/ the highest octaine even if it has ethanol? And what exactly does the ethanol do; such as help/hurt MPG or perf? Thanks everyone!
