Default ‎98 fuel pump on a 99‎

My fuel pump just went out and the local dealer ran out of them, I got this pump for the ‎half price from a dude and it’s a brand new but he bought it for his 98 camaro. is there a ‎difference between the 98 and the 99+ fuel pumps.‎

I dont think so, but I do know the rest of the fuel pump assembly is totally different on the 99-02 LS1. but if you go through all that trouble of takeing the fuel tank out to replace that pump then I would chalk up the money to get a 255lph pump. The holly fits perfect even though people say you have to modify this and that, and you have to do is splice two wires which takes like 2 minutes.
