I dont know anyone who can pu ta real sump on a plastic tank or anyone who has done it... I know of people who have done some bulkhead fittings but none witha real sump like most do on a metal tank...... i had it done on my metal 98 tank to problem.

If I could get my hands on a plastic spare I have a couple ideas I'd like to try for sumping. Bulkheads work but without a baffle there can be a risk.

The 98 tanks run anywhere fom 100 bucks to 150 ish shipping is usually the biggest problem I picked mine up for 100 bucks..smp kit costs 60 bucks or so.. I have delt with bulk head fittings and there kind of a PITA. Just a fitting in a tank would be kinda pointless unless you always drove around with a 1/2 tank..couse every time you went around a corner the car fuel starved
