help on fuel pump install on a 98
the fuel pump strainer on the walbro kit is not the same as the stock.the stock strainer has to outlets and the aftermarket has one its the second a return if it is can I just leave it hanging.I also called the dealer and they want 50$ for a new one but they also have to special order it .thanks

Hi, I just did a Racetronix 255L with plug & play harness yesterday. If you are talking about the flat filter on the bottom of the pump it press fits just fine. Walbro makes the Racetronix pump, I don't know how much difference there is between the two.

i guess Ill just have to get one from the dealer.does your car start right away after the change of the fuel pump because mine takes about to tries before it starts but it wasnt like that before the pump thanks

I just got it the rest of the way back together today & it started on the first try. How much fuel did you put in the tank? I dumped 11 gallons in mine. This was also the 1st time it's ran since installing the Procharger. Nice whining sound from under the hood now
