Default 8-160#s or 12-90#s

what would you rather use on a V8 that needs alot of fuel.
8- 160# injectors or 12- 90# injectors.

Never mind the extra work it would take to run 4 extra injectors. Im wondering what would be the pros and cons of both. Any thoughts?

OK, how much power? Boosted i'm assuming?

If you not spinning that high (7k isn't that high ) you can usually get by with 8 96's for alot. Assuming this isn't alcohol.

You can bump the base fuel pressure to get by on 96's, but that will ultimately find the limit of your pump.

8 160's will get you well over 2k HP at static flow. However, that will drop as your RPM increases just from the simple fact you can't get enough fuel in one engine cycle. (That's why I ended up moving to 160's from 96's)

Ok thanks for your help. What If the fuel was alcohal or E85 and you wanted 1000rwhp on a supercharged engine that spins to 7,500 rpm. Do you think 8 160# would be enough?
