I have a pound and a half of fuel pressure you can hear the fuel pump prime so it is working. It has been sitting for a while I was wondering if there was a saftey feature that kill's fuel pressure. I know ford has something like that or if there was something else. just asking before I take it all apart. Thanks

How many miles on the car? Sometimes the pump will work but not enough pressure will be made.

yes fuel filter has been changed. New fuel pump also I am going to check for pinched lines or bad lines. thanks

Bet the line is loose or off at the pump.

Has anyone taken the fuel pump out of the top by cutting inside the car?
