fuel questions
Hi, I started up my car with my head and cam install. Now the car don't start. The car started up before when i first crank it up. but idled like **** ..I put in a 243 heads,224/224,581/581,114 cam,ls6 intake,42lb injectors in my 99 ls1 and my friend had my specs and got a mail order tune, but i was confused thinking the injectors were 36lb,but at 58 psi the ijectors flowed at 42lb. since i told my friend that the injectors were 36lb when it's a 42 when he was getting my specs for the tune. I'm thinking that the guy who tuned my pcm tuned it with the 36lb specs instead of the 42lb specs. My question is since the tune was for a 36,but the injectors being a 42 will the injectors dump alot of fuel and make the car idle like **** and puff alot of smoke? Because thats what my car was doing when it first started it up. Now my car cranks over but don't start anymore. Do you guys think my car got flooded? Please help

I would think it could be a fuel problem for sure. Do you have any stock injectors you could throw in it to test it out. Thats what I would do. 42lb are pretty big for a small NA motor and that cam isnt really that big to demand a huge amount of fuel. Are you going to be spraying the motor. Just curious if that was the reason for the big injectors. Hope you get it figured out.
