Question Throttle Body On 98 Z

What Is The Size Of A Stock Throttle Body On A Stock 98 Z28? Are There Any Benefits To Going To A Little Bit Larger Body?

78mm. Larger throttle body is useless without an intake manifold with a larger opening. Refer to the External Engine forum for more information.

Unless it is a 93' to 95' of which you cannot port them nor need to. 93' & 94' have no MAF so the size can vary - double check the year if that is the case.

A stock throttle body is listed as a 75mm. The lip in front of the blade (which you remove while porting) actually only makes it around a 72.5mm throttle body.
