Default Aftermarket fuel rails

I searched but did not find anything here. On corvette forum one person said aftermarket rails are just for bling. I'm just curious as to how much the fuel system benefits from high flow rails like the one's found on ls1speed.com? I mean common sense dictates that a larger rail supplies more fuel, but is it necessary for the 400-500 range or is it just overkill?

i would say they arent necessary for a na build, but a turbo or sc setup wouldnt hurt. I know i noticed a difference when i installed billet rails on my turbo v6, and had to change my tune in my ecu accordingly. but, i was running a t76, 84lb injectors, and a massive weldon fuel pump.

I think the stock rails are good for something like 600hp if I remember right. The aftermarket rails do look tons better though.

Awesome, I'm not worried about looks too much.
