for a racetronix kit do you need to drop the tank want to get a racetronix kit for my 98 but to install all the wiring do i need to drop the tank or will the trapdoor work

I rec. dropping the tank no matter what you want to clean out the bottom of the tank to make sure there is no debree that can ruin your new pump.
