98 Fuel Rail Return to 99+ Filter Return

98 Fuel Rail Return to 99+ Filter Return I have an LS2 bottom end in my 98. I just installed the L92/L76 combo and would like to use the LS2 rails/LS7 injectors that came with the manifold.
My options are:
1.) start hacking up the Ls1 fuel rail to rig it.
2.) go with an aftermarket fuel pressure reg with a return and install it near the firewall.
3.) Convert the fuel filter to the 99 with the build it return and run that to the factory return line at the tank.
Any suggestions? I like #3 but I don't know if it's been successfully done.
