Default Fuel Pump retainer ring on 99+ tanks...
I cant seem to get it to budge with a flathead + hammer. Any other suggestions or tips?

Haha, thanks bro - should have updated this though. I ended up talking a 1/2 drive extension I have with the same hammer, hammered the crap out of it (much larger surface, easier to keep on the ring...) and it finally budged on my lunch today. So Im good to go, thanks!
