Default Minor repair advice needed

Ok so my QTP cutouts hit my fuel line and put a dent in it. Not cool. My idea for an easy fix is to cut the fuel line put a peice of rubber hose and give it a sligt bend and put two small hose clamps on both sides.

Would this be a good fix? Any other ideas? And may as well change the fuel filter while Im down there.

No it will not hold the pressures with just a clamp. Need to be some sort of fitting.

Wonder if I could get something from AutoZone or Nappa that would work. From what I remember the fuel lines are tight to the frame not much room to work.
