Default is there any 12 bolts that are cheaper than the moser?

want to buy a 12 bolt b/c i know my stock rearend will eventually break...but i dont need a high dollar expensive one because i never race....i have a T/A puttin out 440rwhp that i just play with and occasionally git on it....so i want to upgrade just to hold up to me playing around but dont need to upgrade to much because the car will never be launched or anything.....someone told me to look into the s60....but dont know who makes it or how much it is please help thanks

strange engineering makes the S60.

check out the for sale section for a used rear if you dont want to pay full price. i sold mine there for $1100 last year.

The S60 is a Strange rear end based on the old Dana-60 design...it is a huge rear end, and IMO overkill for your application. Strange also makes a 12-bolt rear end, but it is every bit as expensive as the Moser.

Any aftermarket rear end you buy for these cars will be $2000+ (mine was about $2600 with all the bells and whistles), if you buy them new. Keep an eye out for used 12-bolts...that is usually your best bet. Others will say to get one out of a junk yard and make it fit with some fab-work, but that is way more trouble than it is worth.
