Unhappy Plz i need help asap

I have a 2001 m6 camaro and (long story short) i had my one of my axle shaft broken so my frind have a 97 t/a and i thoght i can take his axle shafts and put it on my car or take his rear end and put it on my car but i do not know if his lt1 axle shafts or rear end will fit on my ls1 or not?

Plz i need your help asap

97 (LT1 axle) is NOT the same as a 2001 (LS1 axle). The LS1 axle is about 1/8" shorter. This does not even take into account the 3 channel vs. 4 channel ABS differences which you did not address in your question. Simply put, you cant do this.

dont waste your time trying that swap ... if you cant upgrade to a 12 bolt just buy an LS1 shaft
