Default Magnet in the rearend....???

Where can I find the triangular type magnet that slides into the bottom of a 10 bolt housing?

My previous 99 SS with the Auburn diff had one since it came with the aluminum cover. I'm adding a TA cover to my current car but would like to have a magnet in there too.

Any info?

The TA cover uses a 1/4 NPT plug for the drain, I went to a lawnmower shop and got a 1/4 NPT drain plug with a magnet in it and stuck it in, works great. You can clean it and see how much metal your getting, with out pulling the cover. cost about me $4.00

Thanks for the info toad. I'll check that out, I didnt look at the cover close enough to see what plug they used.

01ss, I thought of going to the hobby shop to see if there was a similar sized magnet that would fit in there. Thought maybe I would luck out and someone had one stuck on their toolbox or something!

Thanks guys.
