Default Converting a 9" for use in F-body?

A guy I know said he knows someones who has a 9" housing sitting around that they just want to give away. He said it was out of a truck.

My question is, would it be cost effective to get this prepped to put it in my car or cheaper to just buy a 9" from say, Moser?

If you can get the center section from that 9 inch truck rear, this Moser housing and axle package would be a great way to go.

Hopefully you get a decent Center section..some of the regular Iron ones are crap.
