a stock LS1 wM6 is cabable of 32mpg(driving the speed limit and driving sanely)on the freeways.
Just based on that:3.73s' would increase the torque to the carrier and axles by 9% and decrease that 32mpg down to 29.3mpg.
4.10s' would increase the torque to the carrier and axles by 20% and decrease that 32mpg down to 26.7mpg.
Important parts of initial phrase:STOCK,DRIVING THE SPEED LIMITS,and DRIVING SANELY.
4.10s all the way !
