10 bolt, 4:10 set up ?'s k guys this rear end is kickin my ***....(2002 camaro SS Slp torsen 3 channel 4:10 richmond) i hear all this talk about "preload" "Backlash" does anyone have a spec sheet of what this should all be set at i really want to know how much play should be in the pinion with the ring gear installed

Set the backlash to .006". You need to set your pinion preload without the center section in. Get a good impact gun, and a pipe wrench and hit it until there is absolutely NO slack when you pull it back and forth. Once there is no slack, it should be at about the right preload.
