Default Rear end Coil spring removal?

How much load is still on the springs if the car is no longer supported by its suspension? I found a car at the junkyard and I want to remove the rear end by cutting the coil springs first and then the tq arm, panhard, and control arms. I feel as though the springs will still have load on them and they may pop out on me. Let me know if this is a stupid idea and btw i am going to use a sawzall. Thanks

Yes it is a stupid idea..hah

Just get a 22mm socket and unbolt the shock. Jack up the body of the car and the springs will almost fall out.

They junkyard doesn't allow jacks or jackstands but I think I get the point.

Hah, well I hope you have some strong friends to hold up the car while you remove the torque arm.
