Few questions about swapping a Currie Ford 9'' rear into my 01 T/A
I am currently down in North Carolina and I was looking around for any rears for sale locally. I came across someone who is willing to part their car out, the deal would go as follows:
I give him my stock 10-bolt rear and $1000 and I get his Currie Ford 9'' with 3.90 gears. His car is a 1993 Trans-Am but I don't think the rears matter correct? What else would I need to get his rear into my car and be able to drive it home? I am down here until Friday so I would need to get the rear into my car and be able to safely drive it home 600 miles with no issues. Is there anything else I would need or is it pretty much a straight swap?
Please post up as I would have to do this ASAP, thanks!
