Default Ford 9"??? i have questions!

I'm starting to get worried that my little 10 bolt is going go BOOM soon because i'm doing more things to my car and increasing hp/tq. I have a friend that builds IMCA modifeids and he has tons of ford 9" rears laying around at his shop. My questions are:

what is the back plate to back plate measurement that i would need?

what would be some good upgrades to put inside the ford 9"?

would a ford 9" bolt right in or would there be fabrication involved?

Adding a torque arm bracket to an existing housing is pretty difficult. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...html?item=1116 This Moser housing/axle package is a great way to go, and will save a lot of headaches. Bob
