i have a 95 ta. a cc306 cam port matched heads,, 4000 converter. i will be spraying a 175 shot.. i have a set of 3;42 but i was thinking of a 410 with a 28in tire.. i have a 26 in tire now.. my car weights 3190. i am on slicks..

you need to run it with the 342 and see what rpm you cross at, the rule of thumb is you wanna be crossing the line in your 1:1 gear right as your car is about to shift....for the 4l60e the 1:1 gear is 3rd....so if your not reving out 3rd then you need a taller gear, if it shifts into overdrive (4th) then you need a smaller gear. run it with the 342 and see what happens, then you can judge on that

3300 raceweight, 28x10.5, 150 shot, 7000 rpm shift points, ran 10.92 NA and 10.00@133 with 4.10's. So I think 4.10's are okay if your shift points are on the higher side. That was TH400 btw.
