rearend Gear change
I am wanting to do a rearend gear change on my 99 Z28 M6, it has stock 3.23 and I can't decide what gearing I want to swap to
2.73? 3.43? 3.73? 3.90? Or 4.10?
It is my daily driver car, except when is snows or ices, but I still like to go fast and don't want to kill my gas mileage.
Any input would be nice

What's your mods?
You can go real fast on what is there and save your cash. They are really overrated! Now if you are buying a new upgraded rear (that means not a 10 bolt) then why not when there. M6 guys seem to run 3.90's, 4.10's and 4.30's. Any of them will kill some of your gas mileage... just part of it

If your car is an automatic there will be a bigger drop in mpg than a manual since they could just start using 6th gear and the auto has to rev higher in 4th. 3.23s aren't too bad but if you're swapping them and want a noticable speed difference for an A4 get 3.73s, 4.10s like said above for M6's. Higher the number though, weaker that rear will get. If your anything more than bolt-ons I'd stay with the 3.23s to save the 10 bolt.
