Default Mini spool

would it be a bad idea to put a mini spool in my car ??? i take it to the track alot but i also cruise it on local rod run. My car has the stock ten bolt with a moser girdle and im about to put in 4.10s and the bearing stud kit , i want something that locks all the time but i dont want to but a limited slip diff.....


the car is an lt1 with heads cam full bolt on , bmr adjustablt torwue arm, relocation brackets,lower control arms, panhard rod, minor weight pulled . Thanks for the help

Mini spools are mostly made for dirt track cars. I havn't seen one last very long at the dragstrip. I would explore other options.

From what I have read/heard ten bolts can snap axles pretty easy during sharp turns on the street. They aren't really up to that kind of abuse.
