I need the replace the left axle shaft on a 99 standard non-TC 3.8L Firebird. The dealer wants a ridiculous price for one. I don't need anything high performance, just a standard replacement axle. Can someone recommend a good source for a decent cost effective axle shaft?

You can get a standard 28 spline axle from summit racing for 82 bucks.
