What fluid for my new ford 9"?

Question What fluid for my new ford 9"?

Im installing my new 9" with a detroit locker soon. What fluid should I use during the break-in and after the break-in? Also, is it a good idea to use synthetic with my rear?

do not use synthetic oil.80 90 reg.gear oil is all you need.

prolly wouldnt matter as long as reg. stinky gear oil.Ive used valvoline 85w-140 on my past rear fluid change.


noticed on your location.I feel for you mang.its been almost 3 yrs since our track was close.no worries we might have something in the works in the next year or to.
