Default 9in rearend question

I found a 9in housing it's 58 1/2in flange to flange. I was wondering if that would be to small for a f-bod? I would like to put it under my 98 z.

factory width is about 64.7xx inches the one you have sounds like it might have been narrowed 3 inches a side . That would put it at 58.7 and would work real well for your car,but would require after market rims.

This housing and axle package will save you a lot of hassles, as it comes with the torque arm bracket, and is designed for our cars. Bob
