Just wondering what kind of rpms you're turning at highway speeds and if it was worth changing them out. I have 3.23's and I think I'll stick with those for a while. I'm just curious. Did if affect your fuel economy a lot?

i run them. it is pretty bad on the highway. i run a 275/50/15 nitto tire (stock height) and it turns about 3000 rpms at 80 mph in overdrive. yes it affects it. i wouldnt do it unless you run a big slick at the track. it really doesnt help out much ET wise if you are stock-ish. you need a big tire and big cam to need a 4.10 gear.

I thought about moving up to 3.73 or 4.10 in my car a while ago, but I decided to leave it 3.23 for low rpm highway driving and the fact that I was told many that the gains in the 1/4 ET would probably be relatively small.

This post was just for my curiosity. I have no plans on changing rear end gearing. I like the verter I run now, it does the job for me. Car is mainly on the street.
