Im just woundering about this b/c i ave a set of wheels on my car from a thirdgen and they have a 3 in lip But they stick out a lil bit. I can live with it, but im needing to rebuild my rear end anyway. I already have a 10 bolt from a early 3rd gen,dont have enough money for a 12 bolt or 9.
What can be swaped over to the older housing?whatdoes it take? Carrier, axels,breakes,abs,tcs and e break? I have a fealing im gonna lose tcs,abs,and e break.
Im sure i can do some of the labor myself, some i know i cant (pinion angle backlash). I also already have an eaton diff for the 4th gen (if im not mistakin the 3rd gen are 26 spline and the 4ths are 28) so would aftermaket axels be needed??? thanx in advance

P.S i know i wish this wasnt an after thought too as i have what i need to rebuild the 4th
