Default lt1 rear end question

ok i searched and read around and couldnt find a straight answer..

i have a 2.73 rearend from a 97 z28 automatic..

my car is a 94 z28 with a six speed.. no abs. no traction control.

i am going to install the rearend from the 97 into my 94

can i install 3.73's for 4.10's onto the carrier in the 97 rear end

Yes you can you just need to get gears for a 2 series carrier

so gears from a 3 series wont work? what is the difference? can it be modified to work?

Yes we have the spacer kits available even though it is not our primary choice due to the fact it moves the ring gear pilot surface up and allows three rotating components to move around which can cause issues if you have a lot of power.
