Question about my 9'' Rear.
I was getting a little gear oil on the inside of my right rear wheel. I figured it was an axel seal issue. I replaced the seal and it seems to be doing good.
I noticed yesterday, around the exhaust right before the left tail pipe there seems to be grease, and a few drops of oil hitting the ground. The rear end looks dry, the inside of both wheels are dry, everything looks dry under the car except for this one area.
Then today when I'm actually able to look at it better I notice the rear end vent tube/breather running from the rear end and wrapping back facing out the left side of the car.
What I'm wondering is am I seeing fluid coming from this tube due to overfilling the rear end when it was low from my axel seal leak?

It certainly can be the cause, I'd remove the fill plug located by the torque arm, and check the fluid level. Bob
