Full spool on the street now and then?

Full spool on the street now and then? I`ve been thinking about goin to a 12 bolt this spring and to keep the price and possibility for breakage down, I was thinking of going with a spool instead of a posi and no provisions for ABS. Now, my car is not a daily driver and only sees about 500 or so miles a year, maybe even less now that I have a trailer. But I do like to take her out to prowl around the streets now and then. I know some of you guys run around the roads with a spool back there. What`s it like? Any major problems or concerns with doing it on a limited basis? Thanks.

I drove mine for the first time tonight, after installing the spool.
It wasn't bad on the street. The only time I really noticed it was when I was pulling in to my garage (I have to turn about 70 degrees left to pull in). I could feel it 'tense up' out back (weird feeling). I also stalled the car pulling it in.
Haven't done that in a while. 
But out on the street, once I was going, it acted just fine.
