need help to find out what rear gear my cars has. I tried a search and came up with tons of questions about gear changes and combos. i need to know if there is a way to tell what gear ratio my car has without takin the rearend apart. option sticker maybe? if so what code do i need to look for? it's a 1998 ws6 A4

Shawn. If it's stock, and the rear hasn't been apart, I believe it should have 3.23's, if it is a true WS6 car, but on a used vehicle, it's best to pull the diff. cover and count teeth. WJ.
