would it be worth it to make a 12 bolt fit
as the title says would it be worth makeing a 12 bolt fit on a 4th gen i got a buddy ows me some money and he has a 78 trans am 12 bolt ( he is disabled so it will be hard for him to pay me back cash) i also have an 80s 10 bolt from a fbody i could use as a donar for the hardware would it be to costly to do that how much should it cost i would want to narrow it any way to the stock length of a 3rd gen so i can fit the wheels on better that i got from my 92 that i sold

You better check into that because 1978 f bodies did not come with 12 bolts.
In the past 32 years I'm sure someone could have put one in the car since some were an easy bolt in. Theres a slight width difference between f bodies and novas, etc.

i have been thinking about that too. atleast id have the diff and could upgrade later and id be doing it myself no hurry to get it done so i can make sure i do it right cant learn if i dont do it. and it is a 12 bolt i know the car it came out of(a tree fell on it) so it might not have been original
