Default rear end gurus step in

i am puting a 430 gear in a ford 8.8 and was wondering what pinon shim size to use or if you can not answear that what size should i start with

always start with the original shim that came on the original pinion gear if you have it.

thats the problem is i started with a bare housing so should i start with a .30 shim

If you don't have dept tools start with 15, and make adjustments as needed
