Really bad Vibration help!!!
Okay, so first let me start with my mods on the suspension.
adjustable tunnel mount (short) torque arm set to zero (mainly street driving)
adjustable rear control arms
adjustable panhard bar
stock swaybar
car is lowered 1.5"
Moser 12 bolt rear end with 3.90 gears detroit tru trac
stock steel driveshaft from a 1993 lt1 camaro.
So, my problem is that i get a very annoying vibration around 65-70mph when i let off the gas.
when i shift from 5th to 6th at sayyy 55mph, as soon as i push the clutch in i get a quick vibration.
if im cruising at say 70mph, just maintaining speed, and i let off the gas just enough to barely slow down i get a vibration.
It feels like its the driveshaft or possibly the rear end.
I have no clue. I looked under the car and the counterweight is still on the driveshaft, but looking at the ujoint, the zerk fitting looked like the little ball at the tip if it was pushed in and stuck and there was a decent amount of grease on my driveshaft tunnel and torque arm.
is it possible because that fitting is f'ed, a greaseless u joint would do that?

I'd pull the driveshaft and see how the u joints feel when you rotate them. I'd also reset the pinion angle to -1 to -2 degrees and see if that helps out. Bob
